Well...
our time on Baveno is being cut short... in a good way! We are on to Meiringen
a day early and may just see some family on the way. Although we had a great
day here between visiting the islands, swimming in the lake (I swam) and
walking downtown for a little dinner, we are not really digging all the vibes
here and want to get back to the mountains and hiking. Mid-dinner, mom had the
idea to change up our travel plans and we were all quickly behind the idea of
leaving early. Our wonderfully gracious and sweet front desk assistant,
Francesca, got the ok for us to forego the last night without having to pay. We
are putting a point down for the rose socks! Tomorrow we drive!
